What is Clunker Cruise?
Clunker Cruise - the antithesis to traditional road rallies - will be hosted by Crown Rally on Saturday, November 4th 2017. Launching and completing in Minneapolis, the 2nd annual Clunker Cruise will be unlike any car event to date!
Assemble your Team
Great teams have a combined skillset of driver, navigator, mechanic, and optional entourage.
Acquire a Clunker
Teams must participate in a vehicle worth $500 or less - all rally vehicles will be donated at the finish line.
Begin the Rally
Clunker Cruise will launch from Minneapolis, where your first set of instructions will be distributed.
Complete all Challenges
This is not your typical lifestyle or gimmick rally - think Top Gear style challenges instead.

How Does the Rally Work?
Crown Rally hosts unique driving experiences, and true to our founding principles, the Clunker Cruise is unlike anything in existence. Your goal is to purchase a car for under $500, make any desired repairs or modifications, and show up to the rally launch, ready for whatever is thrown your way. Throughout the day, you’ll receive various checkpoint locations and challenges that your car and team must complete.
How Much Does it Cost? What's Included?
Entrance into the event is $250 for a 2-person team, and $50 for each additional person. Your entry fee covers the operational costs of the event, complimentary towing & support, breakfast, lunch, vehicle livery kit, T-shirt, awards, and after-party.
Is Clunker Cruise a Race?
No! Clunker Cruise is not a speed competition of any kind, except for the track event held on private property. Wreckless driving will result in disqualification from the event - please always be courteous to civilian traffic.

Last year's inaugural Clunker Cruise was a success! The event consisted of a little over 100 miles of roads and 4 checkpoint challenges.
The Cause
Like all Crown Rally events, Clunker Cruise is a #rally4acause. In 2016 we donated 17 cars to our partner charity, Kars4Kids. In 2017, we hope to donate 20 cars to Kars4Kids, in addition to donating several vehicles to Newgate School - a non-profit organization that helps low-income young adults succeed in automotive careers.
